E-Story | Michele & Greg

Last weekend Trev & I packed up our gear and headed north to meet Michele & Greg at their cottage for a snowy winter engagement session. Was it ever worth the drive! We had a stunning, clear, sunny day to work with AND and adorable puppy named George who kept us on our toes.

It doesn't take long before you realize that Michele & Greg (and puppy makes three!) are a perfect match. They spend most weekends up at the cottage in Muskoka, love the outdoors wanted their E-Story to reflect their personalities at a location that was important to them. For us, it was a great opportunity to shoot at a new setting and jump around in a bit of snow, since Toronto is definitely lacking in the winter department this year. :)

It was a perfect setting with a great variety of backdrops to work with- Michele & Greg dressed for the weather and we all headed out into the snow!

I fell in love with 5-month old George instantly, and he was quite photogenic:

As I said- George loved being outside and seemed to be into our photo session - to our surprise he was also interested in testing out the lake water near the boat house. It was his first time swimming and he did quite well! Until he had to get back up onto the ice that is - but Greg came to the rescue and crisis averted. (big sigh of relief!)

We all went back inside to warm up and regroup - George seemed unfazed by the incident and was loving the attention:

Thanks for inviting us up north for this session, it seemed to be the perfect location to shoot the two of you. Right in your element, with your sweet puppy and a cozy backdrop, we can't wait to shoot your wedding at the Speed & Grace Boat & Heritage Centre in Muskoka this summer!
