Michele & Greg | 11.09.10
The ladies started out at Michele's cottage - a picturesque, inviting space with tons of character and general loveliness. The guys had a slightly more rowdy morning at their suite at The Marriott as they prepped themselves for the day's events. Their outdoor ceremony in the courtyard was just beautiful, set underneath a fabric-draped wooden gazebo and complimented by sunny skies and a comfortable lake breeze it came together perfectly.
We took advantage of the docks and surrounding area for some photos before hoping into the boat and heading over the The Grace & Speed Museum for a STUNNINGLY decorated peacock-inspired reception amongst the antiques. I know, awesome right?
Here are a few of our top picks from the day - Michele, Greg it was a pure pleasure to work with the two of you again. Your genuine personalities and love for each other made the day completely memorable - all the best to you both in your future together as a married couple!
I love the calm setting at the cottage:
Michele's engagement ring and promise ring (the couple bought them for each other early on in the relationship, knowing they'd be together) and, of course the amazing shoes out near the dock:
Michele looked amazing:
A quite moment while Michele's dad puts on the necklace he gave her for the wedding:
The guys prepping at the hotel:
They rode up in style in the stunning antique boats "Thunder" & "Turtle Soup":
Michele and the ladies also arrived via boat, and the weather was just perfect:
The ceremony site was just beautiful:
...and it's official!
The details at the reception were amazing - with a peacock colour pallette, the room looked stunning:
I found some old antique anchor chain for the ring-shot!
Michele & her father dancing at the reception
...and after the formalities and dinner were over, the party really got started!
